Terms and Conditions

1. General Provisions

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the services provided by Fast N Fleet (“Company”) to its clients (“Client” or “Customer”).
1.2 By engaging the Company for logistics and transportation services, the Customer agrees to comply with these Terms.
1.3 The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice. The updated Terms will be made available on the Company’s website and will be effective immediately.

2. Services Offered

2.1 Fast N Fleet offers transportation, warehousing, and logistics services as per agreed terms between the Company and the Client.
2.2 Services are provided based on the Customer’s instructions and specifications. Any deviation from these instructions must be communicated and agreed upon in writing.
2.3 The Company reserves the right to subcontract services to third-party carriers.

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1 The Customer must provide accurate and complete information regarding the nature, weight, dimensions, and value of the goods to be transported.
3.2 All goods must be properly packaged to withstand the rigors of transportation.
3.3 The Customer is responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including those concerning the transportation of hazardous or prohibited goods.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 All invoices must be paid in full within 30 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.2 The Company reserves the right to withhold services in the event of non-payment or delayed payment.
4.3 Interest may be charged on overdue payments at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate.
4.4 The Customer agrees to cover any additional charges incurred during transit, such as tolls, surcharges, or penalties resulting from the Customer’s non-compliance with the Terms.

5. Liability and Limitations

5.1 Fast N Fleet is not liable for any delays in transportation caused by force majeure events, such as natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.
5.2 The Company’s liability for loss, damage, or delay of goods is limited to the lesser of:
– The actual value of the goods; or
– £100 per shipment, or as per governing law.
5.3 Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 14 days from the delivery date.

6. Insurance

6.1 The Company provides standard goods-in-transit insurance cover up to a maximum value of £50,000 per shipment. This coverage applies only when the loss or damage occurs due to the Company’s proven negligence.
6.2 If the Customer requires additional coverage beyond the standard limit, this must be requested in writing prior to shipment and is subject to additional charges and written confirmation by the Company.
6.3 The Customer is responsible for arranging their own insurance for any goods exceeding this value or for risks not covered by the Company’s policy.
6.4 The Company accepts no liability for uninsured losses beyond the stated coverage unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Prohibited Items

7.1 Fast N Fleet does not transport:
– Hazardous materials unless pre-approved;
– Illegal goods;
– Perishable items without proper documentation and packaging.
7.2 Any prohibited items found in shipments will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

8. Termination

8.1 Either party may terminate the service agreement with 14 days’ written notice.
8.2 Fast N Fleet may terminate services immediately in case of breach of these Terms by the Customer.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9.2 Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be settled in accordance with the arbitration laws of England and Wales.

10. Confidentiality

10.1 Fast N Fleet will maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information provided by the Customer, except as required by law or necessary for the provision of services.

11. Miscellaneous

11.1 Any waiver of these Terms must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
11.2 If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect
